On 26th October 2023, Lijin Group and Guangdong Hongtu Science & Technology Co. Ltd. jointly released the 16,000T super-large die casting unit. This is Lijin Group's second record of global large tonnage die casting unit after the release of 12000T die casting unit in September last year. Anhui Boehmer Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd (Boehmer for short) is the builder of this 16000T super-large die-casting unit and also the witness of this release.

The spraying system developed by Boehmer for this 16000T super-large die-casting unit includes an integrated mixing station, a maintenance cabinet for the moving and fixed moulds, a spraying robot piping package and a large integrated die-casting spraying tool, and other equipments. Among them, the mixing station is a dual-function mode, which can provide the original liquid, and the dilution ratio of 1:999 release agent supply, the release agent output pressure in 0.5bar-16bar infinitely adjustable, and support the high and low concentration of the release agent arbitrary switching. This spraying tool is the largest one-piece tool ever, with a total size of 1800mmX1800mm, all-aluminium structure, high structural strength and weight reduction of more than 50% compared to conventional tool, in which the nozzle adopts external mixing micro-nozzle and the overall modeling design.

This tool is preferred for ultra-large die casting units, where the spraying operation is controlled in moving and fixed zones. In order to respond to the faster change of mould and production, a one-touch quick-change device has been developed, which can complete the change of spraying tool within 5 minutes. The spraying equipment adopts the nozzle arrangement form of profiling zone control, the overall spraying beat can be greatly reduced, compared with the traditional and other spraying time reduced by 30% -50%. At the same time, it can be equipped with Boehmer's newly developed pulse spraying, with better atomisation and precision control, and the small single spraying volume of a single nozzle can be reduced to 0.1ml, which really realized the function of micro spraying. Boehmer and Lijin Group have strong co-operation and jointly built this die-casting unit for Hongtu, which will be put into application in Hongtu Guangzhou factory.
